Meet Dr. Allison Garmon
Dr. Garmon has been providing quality eye care to the Marshall County community for over a decade. She completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University with a major in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate from Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating with honors. She is certified through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She specializes in primary eye care, pre and post operative care, contact lenses, as well the treatment and management of ocular diseases. Dr. Garmon believes that every patient is unique. That is why she is dedicated to personalizing your treatment to fit your needs.
Dr. Garmon was born and raised in Plymouth and is passionate about giving back and supporting her hometown community. She has been married to her husband Chuck for over 11 years and they have two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys boating on Lake Maxinkuckee, coaching youth basketball, and trying new restaurants with family and friends. She is an active member Trinity United Methodist Church where she serves on the praise team.

Meet Dr. Spangle
Dr. Spangle joined the Bright Eyes staff in 2022. She has a Bachelor of Science degree with a combined major in Biology-Chemistry from Manchester University. In 2021 she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. While in Optometry School, she provided free eye exams in San Salvador, El Salvador on a mission trip. Following graduation Dr. Spangle completed a three month internship with Grossnickle Eye Center in Warsaw, Indiana. She is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She provides comprehensive vision care, which includes prescribing glasses and contacts, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and post-operative care.
Dr. Spangle met her husband Mark, while at Manchester and they have one daughter. In the warmer months, she enjoys camping and being outdoors and skiing in the colder months. She enjoys reading, coaching youth and high school volleyball, and spending time with family in her free time.

Jessica, Office Manager
Jessica started her optometric career in 2014. She has worked in both the South Bend and Plymouth areas. She was anxious to return to Plymouth, where she was raised and be near family again. She has been married to Big Dave since 2005 and is the proud mother to son, Little Dave, and step daughter, Kathryn. One of the things she enjoys about Plymouth is the revitalization of the downtown area. Jessica loves shopping, socializing, cooking, attending sporting events, and lending a helping hand. She was a proud participant in 2019 Marshall County Dancing with the Stars fundraiser for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. Additionally, Jessica is an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jessica is thrilled to advance her career at Bright Eyes. Please stop in and say hello!
Mackenzie, Receptionist
Mackenzie joined the Bright Eyes team in May of 2023. Not only is she new to our team, she is also new to the optometric world. She is excited to further her education and knowledge within Optometry. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as reading, watching movies and running. Mackenzie also coaches soaftball both as the JV Coach at Plymouth High School and the Plymouth Youth Softball Program. She is excited to be part of the Bright Eyes team.
Cortnee, Technician
Cortnee lives in Plymouth with her husband and two children. She has worked as an optometric technician since 2017 and plans to further her knowledge base in a para optometric program. Cortnee is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable communicating their eyecare needs. She loves working at Bright Eyes because we have a fun workplace culture and we are a business that cares for our community. She enjoys spending time with her family whether that is attending her kids' sporting events or fishing. Throughout the summer months you will find her in her ever-expanding fruit and vegetable garden.
Kara, Optical Manager
Kara has worked in the optometric industry since 2011 in both Florida and Indiana. She is certified by the American Board of Opticianry. Exceptional patient care is important to her and she enjoys the relationships she has with many Bright Eyes patients. The quality, technology and design of eyeglass frames and lenses are also extremely important to her. She and her husband are Rochester, Indiana natives and have lived in Marshall County since 2017. Kara loves spending time with her kids and family, being outside in the flower gardens and serving our community as a member of Plymouth Rotary Club and Trinity UMC. She is a proud graduate of the University of Louisville - GO CARDS!
Daniela, Optician
Daniela joined the Bright Eyes team in April of 2023. She enjoys helping patients select frames that best suit their style, needs and budget. She is a college student earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University South Bend. Daniela's interests include diving into the world of entrepreneurship and learning how to make businesses thrive. When she is not hitting the books, your can find her spending quality time with family and friends.
Laurie Foor, Optician
Laurie has been an optician for over 30 years, with 10 of those years at the Plymouth, Indiana Hoya Safety Lab prior to it's closing. Laurie loves working with patients. She has lived in both South Bend and Plymouth. In her extra time she loves spend time with her family especially her 3 granddaughters. She and her husband enjoy time with their Cavalier King Charles puppies and raising chickens.
