Dr. Garmon did her undergraduate studies at Indiana University majoring in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate from Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating with honors. She is certified through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She specializes in primary eye care, pre and post operative care, contact lenses, as well the treatment and management of ocular diseases. Dr. Garmon believes that every patient is unique. That is why she is dedicated to personalizing your treatment to fit your needs.
Dr. Garmon was born and raised in Plymouth and is excited to be practicing optometry in her home town. In her free time, Dr. Garmon enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is an active member of Tri Kappa as well as Trinity United Methodist Church where she serves on the praise team.
Optician
Kara is a Rochester, Indiana native who has lived in Marshall County since 2017. She and her husband, Ryan, a golf professional, have two children, Micah and Joanna. Kara enjoys many hobbies and interests including her family, art and music, film and theatre, reading, and birdwatching. She is a proud graduate of the University of Louisville. Kara has worked in the optical industry since 2011, in both Ft. Pierce, Florida and Plymouth, Indiana. Exceptional patient care is important to her as is the technology and design of frames and lenses. She agrees wholeheartedly with renown designer Vera Wang, “To me, eyewear goes way beyond being a prescription. It’s like makeup. It’s the most incredible accessory. The shape of a frame or the color of lenses can change your whole appearance.”
Optometric Technician
Jessica started her optometric career in 2014. She has worked in both the South Bend and Plymouth areas. She was anxious to return to Plymouth, where she was raised and be near family again. She has been married to Big Dave since 2005 and is the proud mother to son, Little Dave, and step daughter, Kathryn. One of the things she enjoys about Plymouth is the revitalization of the downtown area. Jessica loves shopping, socializing, cooking, attending sporting events, and lending a helping hand. She was a proud participant in 2019 Marshall County Dancing with the Stars fundraiser for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. Additionally, Jessica is an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she helps lead in the children and youth area. Jessica is thrilled to advance her career at Bright Eyes.
